Luca Gliozzi, hailed by the late Aldo Ciccolini as “an artist we will hear about!”, is an Italian conductor and pianist.  In the past two years, he has had the opportunity to collaborate with notable ensembles, including the Gävle Symphony Orchestra, Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Norrlandsoperan Umeå, Västerås Sinfonietta, Berlin Sinfonietta, Beogradski Simfonicari, and Vienna Opera Festival Orchestra. In the next future, Luca is set to return to conduct the Norrköping Symphony Orchestra, Norrlandsoperan, and Västerås Sinfonietta in upcoming concerts.  

Furthermore, Luca has had the privilege to assist Ryan Bancroft for a  Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 10 performance with the KMH Symphony Orchestra and Nikolas Nägele for Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri in Norrlandsoperan 50 years jubilee production. Luca was recently awarded the Nationellt Stipendium för Dirigering 2024 by the Swedish Royal Academy of Music.

As a pianist, he has earned widespread recognition for his performances. Luca's most notable piano performances have included appearances at prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall, St Mary’s Perivale, Farley Music Festival, Society Umanitaria dei Concerti in Milan, Sale Apollinee in Teatro La Fenice in Venice,  Festival Pontino di Musica, Lievito in Latina.

Luca's musical journey started at the State Conservatory “Ottorino Respighi” in Latina, where he graduated with top honors under M° Daniela Caratori. He continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London, earning a Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours under Rustem Hayroudinoff, and completed a Master’s degree with Distinction at the Royal College of Music under Dina Parakhina. He is in his final year of Masters in Orchestral Conducting with B Tommy Andersson at KMH - Stockholm.
